Welcome to the world of Junior Cycle Irish! In our classes, you can expect a dynamic and engaging curriculum designed to make learning Irish a fun and enjoyable experience. Our goal is to help you develop a deep appreciation for the Irish language and culture while also equipping you with the skills needed to communicate effectively in Irish. Throughout your Junior Cycle, you'll explore a wide range of interesting topics, including everyday conversations, personal interests, hobbies, and aspects of Irish culture. You'll have the opportunity to engage in interactive activities, role-plays, and group projects, allowing you to practice your language skills in a supportive and creative environment.

Assessment in Irish is designed to capture your progress and showcase your abilities. You'll have opportunities to demonstrate your speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills through a variety of tasks and projects, including Classroom-Based Assessments (CBAs). These CBAs provide you with opportunities to explore Irish language and culture in more depth. You'll engage in project work, presentations, and creative tasks that allow you to showcase your understanding of various aspects of Irish society and language. These assessments are designed to be interactive, allowing you to apply your knowledge and skills in real-world contexts.
